Collection: Daisy Napaltjarri Jugadai

Daisy Jugadai was born circa 1955 at Haasts Bluff in Central Australia. She is the daughter of artists Narputta Nangala Jugadai and Timmy Jugadai Tjungurrayi (both deceased) and the younger sister of Molly Napaltjarri Jugadai (dec).

Influenced by the Hermannsburg School, Daisy’s paintings depict her Tjurkurrpa (Dreamings), continually painting these lush bush tucker scenes. Reflecting the complex spiritual knowledge and relationships between her and her landscape. The paintings also reflect fine observation of the structures of the vegetation and environment

Sadly, Daisy Napaltjarri Jugadai passed away in 2008.
