Congratulations to Min-Woo Bang on his selection as a finalist in the 2026 Tattersall's Club Landscape Art Prize showing in Brisbane, QLD.
The Tattersall’s Club Art Prize has a long and prestigious history of celebrating excellence in Australian art. With a $30,000 major prize, a three-stop travelling exhibition, and the introduction of a Residency Award, this award invites all artistic interpretations of the Australian landscape.
Born in Seoul, Australian landscape painter Min-Woo Bang attended the South Korean National Art High School before immigrating to NSW.
Min-Woo Bang's cloudscape paintings are both ethereal and mesmerising. Struck with the charm of the Australian landscape and the absolute enormity of our skies, Min-Woo Bang’s primary subject matter is the allure of our natural surroundings and the ephemeral beauty of our skies.
The exhibition of finalists will be on view 1 - 6 June at the Brisbane Tattersall's Club open to members only.
The exhibition will show to the public 9 - 18 July at Lethbridge Gallery, Paddington QLD.
