Annalisa Ferraris is a Sydney based artist, known for her hard edge minimalist painting and empty swimming pool works.
Annalisa Ferraris’ work has evolved with her sharp execution of shadows and a mature palette. Her work which includes her signature empty swimming pools as well as more minimalist almost sculptural pieces that really play with illusion and have an even stronger sense of depth & space.
Annalisa Ferraris encourages the viewer to appreciate beauty in the mundane and to question what lies beneath the surface.
Annalisa graduated with Honours from the National Art School, is a two time Brett Whiteley Travelling Art scholarship finalist, a three time Mosman Art Prize Finalist, and a finalist in both the Paddington Art Prize & Eutick Memorial Still Life Art (EMSLA) Prize.
