2026 Sunshine Coast National Art Prize Finalists

2026 Sunshine Coast National Art Prize Finalists

Congratulations to Dylan Sarra and Jake Moss on their selection as finalists in the 2026 Sunshine Coast National Art Prize in QLD.

Dylan Sarra is a Taribelang/Gooreng Gooreng artist from Bundaberg. With a focus on exploring identity and place, Sarra uses a range of disciplines such as print, digital works and sculpture to gently persuade an audience into humanising the Indigenous experience.

Jake Moss is a Brisbane-based artist and filmmaker working across painting, sculpture, video, and installation. His practice is grounded in autobiography and place, frequently drawing on his upbringing in Woodridge and broader questions of class, access, and cultural visibility in suburban Australia.

The national acquisitive Sunshine Coast National Art Prize is a dynamic visual arts award reflecting outstanding contemporary 2D and new media arts practice in Australia since 2006.

Winners will be announced on Thursday 24 September 2026.

The exhibition of finalists will be exhibited at the Caloundra Regional Gallery from 21 August - 11 October 2026.
