Congratulations to Min-Woo Bang on winning the 2025 Korean Australian Arts Foundation (KAAF) Prize.
The Korean Australian Arts Foundation is an organization dedicated to strengthening cultural connections between Australia and South Korea and supports Australian artists through the annual KAAF Art Prize.
Born in Seoul, Australian landscape painter Min-Woo Bang attended the South Korean National Art High School before immigrating to NSW.
Min-Woo Bang's cloudscape paintings are both ethereal and mesmerising. Struck with the charm of the Australian landscape and the absolute enormity of our skies, Min-Woo Bang’s primary subject matter is the allure of our natural surroundings and the ephemeral beauty of our skies.
The Exhibition of National Finalists is on view 21 November 2025 - 16 January 2026 at the Korean Cultural Centre Gallery in Sydney, NSW.
