We say farewell to one of the great Pintupi artists from Central Australia who passed away at the end of June.
Born circa 1940's Tjampitjinpa's artwork reflects his direct ties with his culture and the Dreaming stories. His primary stories are linked to the Tingari Song Cycles of his traditional homelands.
He was a finalist in numerous art prizes and is regarded as one of Australia most collectable Aboriginal artists.
