Women of Utopia 2025

Showing at the Sofitel Brisbane Central La Galerie 'Women of Utopia' is an exhibition showcasing significant artworks by some of Australia’s most recognisable female Aboriginal artists from the Utopia region in Central Australia.

Approximately 230kms north east of Alice Springs in Central Australia, Utopia is the traditional land of the Alyawarre and Anmatyerre people.

This region has been and still is home to some of Australia’s most distinguished female artistic talent.

Utopia has grown the genius of luminaries such as Gloria Petyarre, Minnie Pwerle,  Margaret Loy Pula and Polly Ngale who feature in the exhibition.

 These women have been collected both nationally and internationally.
