"This work is a reading of post-humanism and new materialism, where the body is understood not as a singular entity, but rather as a node of various interdependent life forms.
It is painted with reference to the tradition of still life, yet it does not stop at the representation of inanimate objects. I strive to shift the function of still life into something more contemporary.
The organic objects are arranged vertically like a figure or a sculpture, so that the still life gradually transforms into a portrait without identity, creating an imagery of potential life that emerges from the interrelations between objects."
