"I attempt to create a space within this painting that feels like a dystopian realm. The massive objects surrounding the human figure create a sense of scale so grand that it renders the human within it small and diminished.

This work does not speak of clouds as mere objects, but rather of the way the world stores and displaces memory. The cloud becomes a metaphor for something that can never truly be possessed: it continuously shifts form, moves, evaporates, and then returns as rain. In that sense, the cloud is a forever-moving archive.

Presenting the human figure in the midst of this looks as though they are 'harvesting' or 'unraveling' something from a nature that has already been distorted.

Layers of meaning are indeed present in this work. I provoke the viewer's curiosity to pause for a moment and unravel the mystery behind the accumulation of these dystopian forms."
