Ann Thomson was an Artist in Residence with the Nock Art Foundation in Jingdezhen, China in 2018.
Jingdezhen is often called China's "Porcelain Capital" because of its centuries-long ceramic tradition. Artists undertake residencies to work with specialist ceramic craftspeople, kilns, and production facilities.
