In this painting Eunice has depicted “Tali”, or the sandhills that are located around her country. Eunice uses layers of colour to build up a vision of the bush flowers and grasses.
Eunice favours strong bright colours to reflect her love for country, its landscape and vegetation.
This is an important story for Eunice as amongst this landscape her and her family’s personal stories are told.
It is her mother’s story, a traditional Warlpiri woman, and the stories are passed down through dance and ceremony.
Eunice is well known for her hunting skills, dancing and traditional law knowledge.
