Eunice’s paintings depict 'Yuparli' or the Bush Banana plant with its radiating, patterned vines. 

The yuparli is a native bush food plant that grows in rock crevices close to riverbeds in the spinifex country in Central Australia.

It is collected by Aboriginal women to be eaten as fruit or used for medicinal purposes.

Since the Yuparli has both medicinal and nutritional worth it is of great importance to the desert people of Central Australia.

The younger girls accompany the women to learn where to locate the fruit and when to harvest.
