Evelyn Pultara is from the Utopia area, approx 270kms north of Alice Springs in Central Australia. Her paintings are associated with the Bush Yam,an important food source for Evelyn’s people. She portrays this in both a linear style and a more abstract style which she developed.

In 2005 Evelyn was the winner of the General Painting section of the Telstra Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Award.
