In this painting the artist has depicted two mature Galawan, indicating initiated men. The Olive Python (Manjudurrk) is painted between the two initiated man and alludes to other aspects of the ceremony.

The rrark, or crosshatching on the figures is specific to the artist. During the ceremony participants adorn their bodies with designs of their ancestors who transformed from human into Djang, the creatures in which the spirits dwell.
