'There were Two Kangaroos sleeping, Two Kangaroos of the same age. They both set off in different directions, moving around and later coming home to sleep. Each one went around on his own.

This is their camp. It is a secret place. The Two Kangaroos moved all around here in the Dreamtime.

The Two Kangaroos came from away in the east, from Nyirampi. They came to Yuparni and slept there. One tried to wake up the other one but could not. He just stayed there, asleep. This Dreaming is from the east, but it came this way. Then the Kangaroos came to Yanarilyi where they slept. One tried to wake up the other but could not. He jumped all around, trying in vain to wake up his brother. He hopped and jumped and leapt but still the other one went on sleeping. He did not wake.
