Phyllis Thomas is a senior artist from Warmun, in the East Kimberley region of Western Australia. As a child she loved walking all over the country with her grandmother and the other women, hunting, collecting dingo scalps and looking for gold.

Phyllis paints Dreaming places and bush tucker particularly of Crocodile Hole which is a haven for wildlife, boab trees, and permanent water.  

Phyllis' work features in private collections and public galleries including the Art Gallery of Queensland in Brisbane.
