Rachel learnt to paint by observing her mother and other relatives record their dreamings in the late 1980’s. Her art gives voice to her traditional beliefs, painting predominantly about, Walabummba, which tells the story of her father’s country, north west of Ti Tree in Central Australia.

Rachel’s focus is to communicate the dreamings of her culture through painting, so these stories are passed on to other generations. Her father’s Dreaming, the Rain Dreaming is one of the stories she paints.
