Collection: Daisy Jugadai Napaltjarri
Daisy Jugadai was born circa 1955 at Haasts Bluff in Central Australia. She is the daughter of artists Narputta Jugadai Nangala and Timmy Jugadai Tjungurrayi (both deceased) and the younger sister of Molly Jugadai Napaltjarri(dec).
Influenced by the Hermannsburg School, Daisy’s paintings depict her Tjurkurrpa (Dreamings), continually painting these lush bush tucker scenes. Reflecting the complex spiritual knowledge and relationships between her and her landscape. The paintings also reflect fine observation of the structures of the vegetation and environment
Sadly, Daisy Jugadai Napaltjarri passed away in 2008.
