'Artists of Utopia' | Level 2

Showing at Sofitel Broadbeach Level 2, 'Artists of Utopia' is an exhibition showcasing significant artworks by some of Australia’s most recognisable Aboriginal artists from the Utopia region in Central Australia.

Approximately 230kms north east of Alice Springs in Central Australia, Utopia is the traditional land of the Alyawarre and Anmatyerre people.

This region has been and still is home to some of Australia’s most distinguished artistic talent.

Utopia has grown the genius of luminaries such as Abie Loy Kemarre,  Angelina Ngale, Kudditji Kngwarreye, Margaret Loy Pula and Minnie Pwerle who feature in the exhibition.

These artists have been collected both nationally and internationally.
