Collection: 'The Company We Keep' | Indra Dodi
18 August - 5 September 2026
Indra Dodi is an Indonesian contemporary artist whose practice centres on figurative painting as a form of visual storytelling. His works are characterized by a colourful, naive visual language that combines humour, psychological tension, and poetic ambiguity.
Through distorted yet expressive human and animal figures, symbolic objects, and exaggerated forms, Dodi explores emotional states, social behaviour, and the contradictions of everyday life, where playfulness and seriousness, beauty and discomfort, coexist.
Dodi has exhibited extensively in Indonesia and internationally, including exhibitions across Southeast Asia, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. His participation in collaborative and transnational projects has positioned his practice within a broader global contemporary art discourse.
