Kathleen artworks depict ‘Anwekety’ or wild bush plum fruit. The Bush Plum is a small native blackberry which grows on the Conkerberry bush after good rains.  It is a prolific native fruit that is full of nutrients and vitamins.

The berries are collected by the Anmatyerre women and are an important food source.

Kathleen creates her works through building up textured layers of interlacing dots and colour, representing the changing seasonal colours of the plant and its fruit.
