This work is drawn from Fiordland New Zealand, and more urban places where those wild things still bring the sensation of luxury.
I am interested in the way we often pass over this kind of experience and wind up forgetting that bliss can be contained within the rawer experience of the natural world.
Even when we are in that world, we miss so much of what is there.
'Muse Escaping' refers to this - the other inhabitants of the natural world, and even the intangible souls of it, slide away whilst we are not slow enough to see.
