"This work speaks of how boundaries are actually produced and negotiated through the body, rituals, and everyday objects, rather than merely through political maps.

In this piece, I imagine the border not as a geographical line, but as a relational space where the body, flora, fauna, and everyday objects intersect.

There are no visuals of fences, no walls, no barbed wire. Instead, there is my attempt to make the entire composition within this painting feel like a borderland, showing that borders are not always a geographical matter.

It can live within: the body, language, food, rituals, cultural identity, and even collective memory.

A large organism composed of biological elements and cultural materials presents a territory constantly shaped by displacement, exchange, and entanglement.

The presence of the two human figures does not signify opposition, but rather participation in the process of nurturing a vulnerable, shared life.

Borders do limit, yet at the same time, they bring together. Without boundaries, there would be no space for encounter."
